Got some suspension and steering done today. Power steering hooked up, shocks on, and got the old rotors turned for now so I could get it back to rolling. The guys that I got it off of done a good job labeling. Most of the bags have labels on it which helps a ton because I didn't take it apart and sure don't know how to put it together.

If something doesn't look right let me know I don't have much experience in this part.

great advise Dave (as usual). I have a few that are sloppy I wish I would have fixed but didn't think to check. Now it's too late.

So this post is not exactly timely but.....

If your holes for your sill plates are only slightly enlarged, you can take a nail set and and whack the very edge of the holes (with screws out) in about three places and get the correct screws to tighten up.

Obviously, this will damage the paint, but we are talking about where the screws go in and it's covered by the sill plate. I put new sills on my car last weekend and had to do this on one hole. Worked quite nicely.

Back to OP. Excellent progress! Keep the pics coming.

Sprayed the hood. The heat was cranked up and the last coat sprayed gravely. Shouldn't be a problem since it will be coming off though.

Got some wheels at the swap meet. They fit in the back but have too much backspacing up front so I'm going to have to get some spacers.

One fender and door had a few spots that I wasn't satisfied with so I put some polyester filler on the and got them straight (I hope) and shot some more primer on.

Got most of the body blocked today. Still have the driver side quarter and cowl to do. It blocked out pretty nice. I'm using a ppg primer and I like how it spray, built, and blocks. Also like the cost. I hope to finish blocking tomorrow. There were a few spots on the car that were low so I'll do alittle filler work and spot prime them.

Very nice! That HOK Tangerine final paint is a really, REALLY nice choice in my opinion that wll make your coupe look killer!

Nice! I remember those days. It is super exciting on the 67/68s because of how hard that one body line is that goes down the sides. When they look that nice it is very exciting!

Thanks guys!

Yeah I have a minute or two in that line. The passenger side fender had a couple spots that were in rough shape so lets hope its straight!
