70_Fastback: RAT ROD - 193x Ford / 1942 GMC Truck

'cause another weekend is lost to me and I barely got a chance to even see my car collecting dust in the garage and then there's your progress. Not really hate, just major jealousy.

What's preventing you from doing any work on your car? Just curious.

Thanks Pete.

I haven't divorced my first wife yet!

Seriously, I know we all like to think it but I actually do work close to 80 hours a week. What time is left usually gets taken up by my kids or plain old life stuff that has to be done. I'm taking a full week off very soon (haven't taken a day off since last Christmas or a vacation since ???????) where I have made everyone painfully aware that I will be working in the garage...so I hope to get a few days time on the car.

Enough of my whining...back to your build!

Thanks Ryan! I'm getting pretty stoked working on it now
I just want you to finish it so you can get over here and help get mine moving along.

Strange that J has these giant scoops on all his cars. Maybe projecting a little??

Odds & Ends... and a major milestone this weekend. It RUNS. Video to follow later.

But next immediate project.... exhaust baffles. It is stupid loud.

And since Terry & Mark are DB's.... I made my own alternator brackets.
Mainly because I converted to a GM 1-wire alternator to simplify the wiring.

Much better J!! No sense in buying a part when you've made the rest of the truck.
