Celebrity Deathwatch THE GAME

Really liked his acting. Had no idea he did all that while going through chemo/surgeries. One tough BAMF. RIP

RIP Diana Rigg

London (CNN)British actress Diana Rigg, whose decades-long acting career spanned 1960s spy series "The Avengers," classical theater and "Game of Thrones," has died aged 82.
"It is with tremendous sadness that we announce that Dame Diana Rigg died peacefully early this morning," her agent Simon Beresford said in a statement. "She was at home with her family who have asked for privacy at this difficult time."
Her daughter Rachael Stirling said her mother died peacefully in her sleep after she was diagnosed with cancer in March. She said her mother "spent her last months joyfully reflecting on her extraordinary life, full of love, laughter and a deep pride in her profession."
"I will miss her beyond words," Stirling added.

Watched the Avengers in Black and White on a Black and White TV. She may not have aged well, but back then... wow.

My Dad would be bummed as he was a big fan.....

How good was Eddie Van Halen? Man he has to rank among the best for sure...

Allen
Heard a report on the radio that he was ranked as the 8th best ever guitar player. That and multiple reports that he was a genuinely nice person, very pleasant to be around.

8th?!!! My ass he ranks 8th. Not only was he a guitar legend the guy was also a phenomenal classical pianist BEFORE Van Halen became the rock champs.

Enjoy

Found this on the internet: Eddie Van Halen, a rock-n-roll God who co-founded Van Halen, passed away on Oct. 6 following a lengthy battle with throat cancer. According to reports, Eddie was surrounded by his family at St. Johns Hospital in Santa Monica, Calif., when he took his final breath. Eddie's health reportedly dwindled rapidly within the past 72 hours, as his throat cancer had moved to his brain as well as other organs. He was 65. Widely considered one the greatest guitar players of all time, Eddie has been traveling to and from Germany for five years to treat his cancer, which he believed was caused by a metal guitar pick he used to frequently hold in his mouth.

Just reporting what I heard on the news. Jimi, Eric are a couple of masters I can think of off the top of my head.

He used to jam Hawaiian music at parties in Cypress.

RIP Mr. Morgan.

And yet another one of my childhood memories passes away. The Reds were my second favorite baseball team, right behind the Boston Red Sox, as a child. The 1975 WS was an awesome time in my life.

The Reds were a division rival for my team. But they had a lot of really good players, charlie hussle and Joe with the elbow twitch when at the plate.
RIP Joe
