Thanks guys, I just ordered 2 meters of steel 5/16 fuel line and will hard pipe it to the carb. Do I make a double flare for the fuel pump connection, like with brake lines?

Don't forget there are different angles of flares. the -an flare is 37° and the standard brake flare angle is 45°."daveSanborn" said:I don't believe so.... most carb inlet fittings use an AN type fitting.

I used 3/8 tubing with 5 inches of -6an stainless on each side(carb and pump) to act as a buffer from the vibrations.
