Ok, Over the next 4-5 days a couple of us will be pretty busy buttoning up Justins car interior sublayer, meaning sound and vibration deadening. We are using a couple different products from www.secondskinaudio.com. Doing this will allow his better half to know for sure each time Justin accidently lets one rip. The audio decible level will be frightening to say the least.
In order, here's a couple pics.
Preparing firewall for firewall pad and heater box install. Applying Second Skin's diamplifier pro vibration dampening material.
Today I applied the first coat of Second Skin's spectrum, roll on , brush on materials in the rear quarter's interiors, a difficult area to apply the diamplifier material. Tomorrow or Thursday, I will apply a second coat so we end up with a minumum of 1mm coverage.
Once it dries, it will be a mild gray color. What is nice about this material is that is also protects the metal underneath.
During the next 4-5 days, I will add pics as we go along.
