Is it cold in Beloit, WI ? I got two weeks coming up to stay there

Just don't go to Texas. I seen a headline today that they are getting more snow than us here in Ohio.

Thursday: Snow. High near 21. Breezy, with a northwest wind between 15 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Thursday Night: Snow likely. Cloudy, with a low around 9. West wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

WTF?????????????????

It's January in Wisconsin. What did you expect? In actuality, that is not too bad at all for this time of year.

Your going to die!

Just kidding. We have had a very mild winter so far. Today was in the mid 40s. It will probrably be pretty cold in February. Anything above zero is decent weather for February.

Don't forget to bring your walkin' shoes if RappidRabbit invites you for a boat ride. :roll :hide :yah :yah :yah

Dude, you're gonna freeze solid! Better buy yourself at least 3 layers of Carhartts (or equal).

You may want to see if Craig has any more of those warm hats left. You are going to need it.

this does raise the question I always ask when I am up there, "why do you live here?"

Beats me. I have been trying to get out for years. If it wasn't for my wife I would have been gone 10 years ago at least. I was born here and I have never liked it here. Most people in Wisconsin never leave the state and don't realize there are better places to live. Some people love the winters. They are crazy. :shrug

Our house is going up for sale in the spring and we are getting out!!!! Only a few more months to go. Nothing sells in the winter here. Who wants to move when it's :censored 20 below zero. :skul
