This is my '65 fastback. Bought in 2001 for $2500. What I told the wife was it would be good cheap transportation for our high school age daughter. She did drive it to school Junior and Senior years. Since then she's graduated from Cal-Berkeley summa cum laude, got a Master of Philosophy from Cambridge U., and just started a 5-year Ph.D. program at Harvard, fully funded. Proof that driving these old heaps doesn't turn everyone into an idiot. Just most of us. I bought these Raceline rims in Fall 2004. Santa brought us the digicam for Christmas 2004, so I drove out to the Marin headlands in January 2005 and took this pic and about a dozen more. The poor car has sat in the garage since June 2008 with a broken crankshaft. I hope to be back on the road with a newly rebuilt roller cam 306 before the winter rains return to Northern California. We'll see.

I took this one a couple weeks ago when I took 400 pounds of deer corn to my feeders. Wish I could also hunt out of my stang!

This is the wifes 66 convertible, started out as a 6 cylinder rust bucket. It now sports a 289 with 3x2 intake, 5 speed, vintage air and a bunch of other stuff.

The newer one will hold up better against the hurling up eaten boiled peanuts.

Umm..they are still green when picked up. Then the magic happens :yah

The OWS'rs that frequent this site just don't know delicacies when they taste them.

Any time Pete.

I'll fly in to Daytona next month. Meet me at the Big D with a new set of R comps and we'll BREAK those 2 cars in the right way.

Umm...when it comes to you and the phrase "break" I think I'll pass.
