Mustang 50th Celebration - Las Vegas, StangFix Gathering

I haven't been to either in a few years. I was impressed by the new hotel that is owned by Harrah's....I think it is the "O" or something. When Amber gets home I'll find out and post.

I like TI, Flamingo, and Excalibur/ Luxor.

I've been to all the real spend ones too, Planet Hollywood is pretty nice. The above three are usually affordable.

I read today that they are setting aside paved areas for clubs, registries and other organizations to park together. I would think Stangfix would qualify for one of the "other organizations" in the loosest sense of the word. :hide

if anyone is interested in this for Vegas I am happy to follow up on it.

OK...I have some information on the MORE parking for Vegas. If the Stangfix members want to park together we will need to pre-arrange with a minimum of 20 cars. I do not know if we have that many in attendance. MORE parking is a preferred area near the speedway main entrance. It is free to sign up for, must be done by March 15th. I have a spread sheet they sent me, let me know if anyone is interested.

I am interested, but may not have a Mustang to take.

I will be there for parts since I am driving down each day I will attend.

I am no longer going. We just put
an offer on a new house, so we just canceled our room reservations. We had been watching the prices on the flights and they have been kind of high anyways. The last time we went on vacation flights from here to Hawaii were only $100 more than they are to Vegas currently. I think I would rather go to Hawaii.

Ken count me in although it may be too late. I'll be at MGM.

I finally got around to reserving my room--I'm staying at the Monte Carlo. Mike, is there anyone besides us driving there on Thursday?

Not that I know of.

And Yes I'm staying Sunday night at MGM too.

Sounds like we'll have enough for a quorum on Friday the 18th - I'll throw a StangFix BBQ at my place, time to be announced but probably immediately following the track closing Friday which is around 5pm.

My place is convenient to the track and I-15 so no wasted time driving to the other side of town:

I'll get a final head count later, but we'll burn the briquettes if it's just 2 or over 20. :beer So far we have:

Me + SWMBO
Eric English - photographer/writer for multiple auto mags (he shot the cover of December Car Craft - '69 Boss)
2 more locals
KBMWRS+SWMBO

Plan on swinging by!

Bryan,
My wife and I will be there Friday...what time? Should we bring something?
