I was surprised to get points nights at a couple of hotels close to the venue when I checked yesterday. Even more surprising that they were cancelable day of arrival. Whoa, the revenue numbers were big though, up to 300.00/nt.

Looks like our primary days will be Thursday and Friday at this point, maybe trailing the cruise to Kannapolis on Friday night and back to Fuquay-Varina Saturday morning or late Friday night.
--Updated to confirm we have credentials and will be attending for sure Thursday and Friday and will head back early Saturday. I'll be curious to see if any other left-coasters will be bypassing Vegas for Charlotte.
My understanding is the 'Mustang entry' credential gets a parking spot either on the infield or in the outside overflow 'show' area but could be wrong about that. We'd love to park with some of the other forum members (here or VMF) but understand we got to this late.
