Need a pic regarding 67-70 trunk dropoff drain hole

The camera battery took a dump while I was taking pics. I'll try to put them up later.

The hole most rearward is where the harness comes out for the reverse lights.

The front is the drain hole and takes the plugs pictured earlier.

El Correcto. 65/66's have a similar rearward hole for backup light wiring.

But mine doesn't have any forward holes in them....

I'm guessing the swiss cheese was in the area in question.

Ok, here are the original '70 drop offs...

I thought at first this may have been a hole right at the wheel well - but I think it's just more rot.

Repop drop off with only the 2 holes further back...

General use drop off - had to cut off the excess to fit my application. See how the line interecepts that hole?

Passenger side shows no sign of a forward hole.

So, what your saying is that... I should have left the rust holes to help alleviate any future potential rust from inadequate drainage in my drop off area. ~???

In the very top pic of the rotted left drop down you can see the square hole the plug clips into.

The one on the right looks to have been patched prior.

I'll send you pics and measurements when you're ready. Get the plugs coming.

Eye's have the plugs but the car won't be home for 3+ weeks. So take your time.

And yes that first pic, very far left, I see both drain hole and square hole above it.

Look at the second pic. I was able to view it better before I resized it. It almost looks as though there is a metal track that these slide into. Could be the undercoating but it sure looks like it to me.
