Non Mustang Work

I'm home from Europe for a couple days. I have to go to Tampa and maybe Ft Worth but I did get the AC installed in my 72 Chevy for the Power Tour. (sliding rear window) and I changed all three U-Joints. The front one one was missing all the needle bearings! I also put a new carrier bearing on it (again). That's three in five years. Changed the oil and put a new fuel sending unit in the tank I got from Bill from his 67. So it is ready for the Power Tour. Now If I get time I will work on the 67 but I'm not pulling a Terry so if I can't get it done then I drive the Chevy.

Got the linseed oil and have give the first coat to the handle. It really brings out the grain.

My next tool project. The head is loose and the handle has a split. I might be able to save the handle but do not know yet.

Yesterday was wash one of the tractors day. I first mowed the northwest 20 then I power washed the John Deer.

That is a nice looking tractor. Just finishing the John Deere Classic golf tournament, it would have fit right in.

I finally got around to installing my deicer on my dock. It helps to keep the water circulating. The channel gets pretty funky in the summer!

You are right (had a huge brain fart) My maul is still on the work bench needing a new handle.

Finally some time at home. Tore down an old wooden swing set jungle gym thingy. Hauled the wood off and leveled the ground. Had some gravel dumped. Leveled that, and started building one of those cheapie metal sheds.
