"Phoenix" 65 Coupe to FB

The blade is rotating the wrong way, that’s why the smoke is going away from you and the board is lifting. You should also use a splitter. That keeps the wood from binding and causing kickbacks.

As far as the fence, you can use it on either side of the blade. All depends on your dominant hand.

I do like the splitter idea but your still wrong. The blade is rotating towards the wood as it should. Counter clockwise from the front with the blade bitting downward
 
Still , when the wooden block hits the blade , it tends to go up and thereby you have to push it down.Thats wrong !!
The smoke tells the rotation. Its shouldn't smoke like this way.

Physics works the same way everywhere. Even in Kentucky (I think that's where you are). :p

Don't mean to seem like we are piling on here but saw blades rotating at high rpm are not something to be messing around with. Don't want to see you or anyone else getting hurt. There is a reason saws like this are designed to cut down and away from you. Check it out as it is obvious from the video which way it is rotating. You need to change its orientation in relation to the separate drive motor to get it right or change the rotation of said drive.
 
Maybe im completely miss remembering, I dunno....But i know i worked on this blade and made it turn the correct way. So ill check it when i get it home. Maybe i took the video before my adjustments because ive done a lot

So true. Poor {.} is extra sensitive to safety around saws as he came from an industry built around their use. Must have tucked them up under a headband or something to keep them from getting cut off.

It is true that I spent 30+ years with saws of all kinds by my side. Everything from what OP has up to CNC tables. I can say I maintained ownership of all ten digits. The stories I could tell though.....

I'll give it a 58th vote that blade is not running in the correct rotation. In fact also a 59th because my friend sitting beside me says the same thing.

I hate you all......you were right...I dunno wtf I did because I went over this 5 million times/ with 3 different motors until I put this one on. I knew what direction it was supposed to go and thought I had turned it but apparently at some point I turned it around.

Gonna really get to test the Table Saw out soon....With a blade for cutting tile....Have to make 2 or 3 straight cuts on a Large Format Tiles...Should be interesting....lol

LOL!!!!! Well the new plywood definitely took multiple cuts. Cut it perfect the first time if only the wall was straight.... So needless to say i had to use a 2nd piece of plywood. Hopefully i wont make that mistake with the tile :)
 
I trust you got your hands on, specifically, a dry tile saw blade. Even then, cutting ceramic tile dry is not the best way to go about it. You might be better off getting a scoring tool (diamond pencil, for example) and simply scoring and snapping the tiles if the cuts are simple and straight. Right tool, for the job thing.
 
Unfortunately not simple. Have to cut out the sink but I do have dry/wet blade for the porcelain tile.
