Re-restoration in progress for some vintage racing

Looks nice too bad the motor doesn't realize that right now is the best it's ever going to be.

Finished up the engine stuff and dropped it on the ground to see how it sits now. Back is perfect but the front needs to go lower still. Cut 1/4 coil off. Needs another 1/4 off still.

So what changed with the ride height?

It’s always been higher than I wanted it. When I changed to a dbl roller and roller race arms, it raised it up another 1/2” in the front. Dropped the rear 1”. Just need to get the front dropped to make it level.
 
Those tires look old to me. Isn't it time to spend a little cash a buy new ones? Nice sounding engine. Did you at least back it out of the garage?
