So I ripped my dash out this weekend

Well I finally did it. I had been dreading pulling the dash out of the 'stang for a while now, and I finally got a chance last weekend. It really wasn't that bad.

Started Saturday afternoon, finished up Sunday. Saturday was a real scorcher. Sunday was much better going in the garage, much cooler with a little breeze. Cranked up the local radio station, jammed to some Rush, Zeppelin, and Hendrix. Pulled everything - steering wheel, dash pad, instrument/clock panels, and lower metal dash. Looks kinda barren in there.

Now I just need to get the lower dash stripped & primed & painted... and I can do it all again in reverse. Of course, I'll need to put a new heater core in first, while everything's easy to get to. I don't want to make a habit of this...

.....your car must not have the A/C stuff otherwise there would be more :fbomb :fbomb in your post :lol

Yep, you guys are right - no AC. I find I almost never use it even in my daily driver, so that's OK with me. Easier = good.

I think I'm going to have to pull the blower motor though. The wheel doesn't turn freely for the full 360*. Must investigate.

I should have taken pics of the A/C crap when I had the clock and instrument cluster removed. Its like 10lb of crap in a 5lb bag

Such nice language there. Do you kiss your sheep on the lips with that potty mouth? :nk
