I have had my eyes out for a solid body to swap the drivetrain out of my mustang into. My old T-Code was fun to learn on but needs more metalwork than is worth doing to the old girl. I have lots of new good parts on her though so I thought if I get something solid that needs and engine trans etc I could be up and running fairly quickly and not have to be annoyed with the current stang continuing to rust to pieces. I mentioned my plans to my GF and told her I was thinking about looking at this particular mustang: http://longisland.craigslist.org/cto/2170179462.html I figure I better warn her before I do anything since we just bought a place and she wouldn't be too keen on me spending a bunch of money right now.
Her response to me was if you really want another Mustang why don't you get rid or yours and just buy one that is done already? Needless to say, I was completely surprised. Her logic is right, but I was thinking I would spend as little as possible right now out of pocket and I could come close to breaking even after parting mine out.
What a dilemma. :confu
