What did you get done on your Stang today????

Changed the speedo gear from 19 tooth to 20. Will take it out now for a ride to check the registered speed. Also need to find a vibration in the steering.

The wife went with her coworkers for a few drinks so I got a little late night garage time yesterday.

I got those bolts out of the shifter levers and installed my connecting rod between the AOD and stock shifter. Also replaced the lower radiator hose with a new one for a better fit. Small steps, but finally some progress again.

Just finished getting new track rubber mounted. They're now on the car and it's ready for the first track day of the year, April 11th!

Wooooo Hooooooooooo

How about a little FIRE Scarecrow?
Both of you are in my little black book...how would you each like a nice F3 tornado on the 11th?

Kansas only ranks an f3 as mildly windy.

A true Kansan never comments about HOW windy it is, we only discuss wind when there is none!

unless you're passing some......

Started on swapping out the manual steering for the TCP power rack. Got the manual steering box out...what a pain. With the shape of the Milodon pan, I had to remove the pan to get the steering box out. Not even raising the engine was enough. Cut down the stock steering column and got it remounted. And got the KRC pump mounted.

Now, I just need to get a pan put back on, bolt on the rack and reservoir, and finally get it plumbed. With any luck, I'll be out terrorizing the neighborhood soon!!!

I started to pull most of the engine compartment apart to clean up. Order a new air cleaner and valve covers, and now need to order new hoses and a water pump. Need to finish cleaning stuff up so I can spray the motor gloss black, then paint the rest of the engine compartment. I am hoping I can get this stuff finished up this week in the evenings.

Finished my carb rebuild. With any luck, it'll work too. Thinking I might pull the heads and clean those up next. Not much else I can do until I pull the engine.
