Just picked up my 408W short block from the freight terminal. Been a long time coming.

Finished my Custom Gauge Cluster and got it installed. Looks like a factory tach cluster without all the rewiring. The tach is voltage triggered versus amperage.

Just finished tearing out one bad floor support. Tomorrow I'll weld in the new one and the driver's side torque box. Progress...finally.

Where it sits now. Frame rail patched, floor extension out. Just gotta prep for welds and the new stuff is ready to go in this afternoon.

Drove the dark blue 68 coupe to the farm (130 miles) last night. Looks like today might be a bust, it is pouring, I have finished all my inside chores. I tried burning a brush pile but I still was getting soaked. At least I do not have any chance of a grass fire (been there and done that a couple times).

Just finished welding in the floor extension and half a torque box.

Just made a list of parts for this yr to get car daily driver ready for next yr. yes people may hate but i want to drive it daily till the snow starts falling each yr.

Woke up the 67 convertible from a several year nap. New battery, new fuel pump and she fired up. Took her for a quick spin down the street in the rain, with the top down!

Great idea. Drive it and upgrade something every winter. :thum
