Here's a shot of a stock arm as it is mounted. And another showing the factory mounting holes and Arning drop hole locations.

And now i am a bit pissed...Cut the side of the cowl today and was working and i got the new cowl fitted in...But there is no effing way i can weld the inside edge of get it fit snug....Its just far back and there is not enough room. I would have to replace the whole cowl....So now i just dunno what to do....

I could weld it back together with part of the cowl welded in so it doesnt rattle and then just weld **** the sides so nothing can leak in through the fender gaps but i just dont know. I dont have the skill to do the cowl and it is way more then i can afford to have done. My understanding is its $2k easy to have done...

So i dunno...Im a bit pissy....If i weld the sides it would at least be leak free with a cowl cover

Actually managed to get it spot welded in place just not sure how i am going to get it seamed sealed very easily...

Thanks Steve... I was just frustrated

aint pretty and took some tricky angles and tight wedging on my welder handle

cut out and welded in about 10" of frame rail in front of the support. Had to do some weird stuff with the inner portion and move it back a bit because the rad support was rotted in the corner. But it worked out all right..And yeah this welder sucks!! LOL Its ugly but seems solid....I also need to make an end cap now for it

okay, cool. I am fixing a spot on the 65 and I cut out the old frame section. My new piece doesn't have anything there...

boo to that. I bought this piece of CJPP. When i cut the original out i seemed like a plate was inside that had them on it almost. Maybe for reinforcement

I think the factory was a brace/plate whatever you call it. I assume also to resist damage if the bumper get hit (softly).

Well bent the lip just a little but more and i was able to reach around the cowl and get it all gunked up. It is officially sealed on the drivers side. I ran a lot of water and no leaks. Even came out the drain hole properly lol

Drivers side is all sealed backup, and i started on the passenger side a few weeks go but havent got it all cut out enough to fit the piece. Kind of at a standstill as I have another MMA fight Aug 2nd and my time has been concentrated on training and well gotta cut weight

Go time tonight

I fight at 170lbs...Lost my fight...It was a good fight, nailed him a few times but got caught. Threw a jab and got caught in the back of the head. Went down and the ref just called it before anything else. Wasnt happy with the "Early" stoppage but in amateurs its how it goes
