I think his wires look just right...Here's mine:

Duraspark distributor, MSD ignintion box, wires, separators, and coil. The Duraspark cap was grey, so I painted it black and put a red MSD hat on it.

i'm so HAPPY that i finally got my car running smoothly...she's not pretty, but to quote Han Solo - "She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid. I've made a lot of special modifications myself." i can now proudly post a pic of my motor. please forgive the iphoto touches...i decided to only focus on the motor, since that's where most of the work went.
