Today I swapped one of the medium blue springs in the dizzy for one of the light silver springs, to get all the advance in a little earlier. Then I took it for a 2-1/2 hour test drive.

Hit some old back roads I hadn't been on in a long time, and took a few roads I hadn't ever been on. Got lost in the middle of nowhere a couple of times. Which was just fine by me.

Dude!! Looks Great in the sig pic!

Took the 69 out for a 65 mile run through the back roads. Brought the wife and kid for ice cream. Car ran great.

spent fri & yesterday at the rod run in knoxville. didn't see but a small handful of mustangs out of over 3000 cars & only a couple were worth noticing. finished bolting on my new front brakes 12.5" 2008 GT brakes. i see why they need at least a 17" wheel. only about 1/4" of clearance between the caliper/wheel with a 17.

Got to work on the left fender apron today for the battery tray move. The toughest parts are done with just two little pieces to finish it all up. After the welds are all in I'll dress them up and get some pics posted. I also got a small area on the top of the apron patched after finding a little rust. The final thing done today was drilling out the broken bolt for the cross member on the right frame. I tried heating the area and using an e-z out. No luck! That sucker was frozen in there and the last thing I needed was to break off the e-z out in it!. I ended drilling it out and retapping. I may end up cutting open the frame rail and welding in a new nut, something I wanted to avoid. I'm not willing to take chances seeing how it'll hold the right side of the rack & pinion mount! We'll see. :confu

It's no creampuff. It's had floors and partial quarters done in the past. All of the previous body work needs to be redone. 25 footer. It's all there though and a strong starting point. It could be cleaned up a bit more and driven as is for quite a while if one wished to do so.

Looks good Steve!

I wish I had 16K, the 70 Boss is one of my all time favorite cars and a driver would be perfect.

You doing anything special to the clone before the 4 sale sign pops up? This means 'ole doc has a GT motor laying around, huh?

I spent several hours making it run. I plan to do nothing else to it.

You want the gt setup? I'm sure he'll save it in case he scatters one of the other two.

Went to a local Cruise-in, well half hour away, and it started pouring rain when we got there. There was only two other cars and they left. We stuck around and had dinner anyway. Now I got to wash the car tomorrow!

Got the rear driver side brakes installed on my blue coupe, If I get the passenger side on tomorrow and the bleed on Wednesday, I can drive it on Thursday.

Took my son out for a cruise and we went to a fair at our church, parked on the street and left the Mustang there for a couple hours, it was a lot of fun. My plan it to start driving the car a lot more on the weekends.

At the gas station a guy in a little compact was telling me how beautiful the car was, we left at the same time and hit the freeway, he got pretty close then bolted around me, kind of made me nervous and sure enough a cop pulled him over. I really hope he didn't get a ticket but I think he was checking the car out and go careless.
