Drumr90,
Your Avatar pic is very small. Can't tell what year Mustang you are working on. You might list in your signature what model and year you have. Also, where are you located?

I want to do that to myn.

1968 mustang coupe with 289 and auto trans. Northampton,pa is where i turn wrench's at.

Finished install my roller upper control arms and roller spring perches, Did a brake job and had to replace one of the rear wheel cylinders. Cleaned the rear housing, front suspension and the engine.

Then drove it like I stole it. The new upper control arms sure handle the corners great. :thum

While I was doing all that, I had a couple chickens in the smoker. Time to eat! :pbj

Installed my new PMGR starter from DB Electrical. Much lighter than the original. I wish there was a neat way of running the two wires from the starter to the solenoid near the battery. I am not sure how close they can be to the exhaust manifold before their insulation melts.

Finally unwrapped my shortblock. Next step will be to check PTV clearance and pushrod length.

Well not today, but installed the Pertronix weekend before last and have been chasing demons ever since. Going to hit it hard this Friday and get it running the way it should. Will try everything everyone recomended. I think I'll fire it up and bring to temp. and pull the coil wire off and see if turns over like it should then retard the timing a bit. Got high hopes that'll cure it and can burn up some highway.
I know...I know :wop
