We call "Clear coat" lacquer over here...same thing.

All the small things

So now that she is out of paint jail i am getting with all the small jobs.

I finally get to use my hood pad

Roof done

Kick panel Speakers

Trap door speaker cut out

Power locks

Interior panels sprayed Satin black

I also finally got the rest of the panels sprayed up. The lads have to colour sand this week then i will mock the whole car up.

Couldn't resist doing a little mock up last night.

I bought 6 rattle cans of the proper black and tested it but i didn't like it so i went with a Satin black from my local auto paint supplier. I am very happy with the result.

Gotta say, I just love the look of a painted bumper. But I can't help myself...tire's on backwards!

Thats a great panel protector there.
For re-assembly it would be worth its weight in tattooed dogcrap!

hahah nicely spotted....they'll be back off and on again many times before she actually gets driving.

Making good progress and some minor setbacks.

I pulled the rear end to finish it up, install the brake lines and give it a lick of paint.

Ready to go back in.

Hood pins and plates installed. Nervous moment with the rivet gun. :roul
