Credential Information

Registration: Upon arrival at your first cruise night, you must report to the registration area with your valid drivers’ license, no matter where you join the Tour. Follow the Hot Rod Power Tour signs as you get close. Once you have been to registration, there is no need to register at any of the following cruise nights. Preregistration lines are broken down alphabetically by last name. Each registration includes entry for the vehicle, driver, copilot, and one goody bag.

Pete showed me how a while back. When you post something like that, then "edit" there is a little icon to the right of the text box. Click on that and add the stuff and save

Well I'm officially throwing in the towel. Not going to make it again this year. Big surprise huh.

In our seemingly never ending search for a warmer place to live, we have just booked tickets for June 5th through the 12th to check out Florida and South Carolina. The entire summer after that week is a blackout period for vacations for me so its the only week we could take off.

I'll waive to you guys as I fly over.
Take lots of pictures for me.

bummer, but we understand. We too plan to take pics, my co-pilot (wife) usually too busy to remember so I have to remind her by saying "ohhh, get a picture of that!!!"

Yeah, I'm pretty depressed. I was planning on coming over to Detroit for the weekend even without the stang.

well there is still the Myrtle Beach Bash in the fall and the PT goes again next year. Usually starts at or near where it ended the year before so most likely out there in TX again next year.

So how does it work for those of us that may join later on during the tour? I really can't take a few days off, but was thinking about driving North towards OK an hour or two then drive back to TX with the tour. Do we need to register or anything or just meet up on the way?

The only reason you would need to register is for the Venue. Your registration gets you in the "car show". As far as driving the route, if you know what it is, you can drive with us for free. They usually publish the route by now. I've heard this year that we will get driving directions when we check in.
We should all PM or email our cell phone numbers or make a list or something so we can hook up.

As I understand it, if you join in along the way you simply have to register at the final stop for the day. I believe that was discussed in the confirmation that Craig posted earlier in this thread.

Here it is.

If you'd like, I'll act as an escrow manager for your cell phone number.

yes, you register at the final stop of the day you join the tour. You will get a window sticker that lets you in the "car show" area.
Larry had asked about a checklist, this is what I made for myself and have been using. Feel free to use, change, etc.

I like Rick's idea of hooking up somewhere along the way as the Tour heads into Texas. Maybe Denton or Gainesville? ...or the Windstar???
