A highlite wall in my basement. It's lit from the top with LED Eco-Sense wall grazers.

Reclaimed, vintage barn tin with a kick ass patina.
Am I seeing it right? Are you leaving the joists exposed? Industrial kind of look?

Yes sir. I am going to spray all of the joists and subfloor above a dark charcoal gray. There are floating panels that skip every joist opening to house additional down lights.

That looks pretty cool J.

I watched a repair guy install new torsion springs on the garage door....
I'd rather defuse a bomb than mess with those things. :bomb

The danger involved is HIGHLY exaggerated. Couple lengths of the right sized bar stock and it's a breeze.

I am with you on that as well Bob. I have a sectional garage door, and the spring broke one night. Kept pressing the remote to open the door. The opener jacked the door up a little without the spring assist. I had a repair dude do the work because I needed it done, and I did not want to mess around looking for the parts to repair the door.

Lets see where to begin. For the last 3 weeks, been remodeling the house with contractors building a new addition. Put a new metal roof on the house and the garage. Redone the kids bedrooms (mudding walls; painting walls, trim, ceiling; and new carpet). Just finished doing the same on the master and waiting for new carpet. Found a water leak in the closet access for the tub/shower that was repaired. Waiting on the contractor to finish the addition, then having dozer work done in the backyard. Did I mention that we are currently under contract with a realtor to sell?

Ever wonder why it is we live in our homes for years as they are but when it is time to sell we fix them up for the next guy? You seem to have taken this to a whole new level. Pics?

That table looks really good.

thanks, it's not bad for a gear head with no wood working tools...
It's not what they call "Fine Furniture"

I googled it

Craig, how did you fasten the legs and frame to the table?
pocket screws and glue. They make a jig but I don't have one so I just eyeballed it. I drill part way into the wood at 90 degrees, then turn the drill about 15 degrees and drill a pilot hole. Then screw the self tapping screws in.

you can see the "holes" in this picture along the 2x4's and in the legs. I did the legs first so the 2x4's cover some of the screws in the legs. It's pretty strong. ya just have to make sure not to send the screws through the top!
